Monterosso Hotel/B&B suggestions

I'm looking for suggestions for Hotels/B&B's in Monterosso in the 100-200 euro range. I'm not going until September, but I've heard that the best places book up very quickly (I've already contacted The Pasquale- they are booked). It would be nice if the place included breakfast, and a good view is a must.

Thanks!

Now don't get freaked out...The Hotel Villa Steno, recommended by the much-maligned Rick Steves (unfairly IMO), served us beautifully a few years ago. Dramatic ocean views from the highest point in town.

Ask for Room #5 with it's own little patio overlooking town and sea. We found the owner-hosts to be gracious and helpful. Pleasant walk down the hill to town and beach and termini for hiking trail. I believe The Pasquale has the same owner. If you have a car, parking lot is small but right on the property.

I assume you mean Monterosso in the Cinque Terre. If I were you I'd tag your question under Italy. As it is it's only posted under "Europe".

Yes, they get booked early at Monterosso. I looked for rooms for Sept 2015 in Nov 2014, and the days I wanted were already booked at my first choice B&B. They had days before and days after, but not the days I wanted. I suspect that regulars book them a year head when they leave the B&B.

If you can get a room, I'd also recommend the Hotel Villa Steno.

Worth tne splurge...Hotel Porto Roca. It is in front of a hill where the train passes through a tunnel so you don't hear the trains on their way from Rome to Nice and beyond as you do in much of the Cinque Terre.
