Hello Renee, I went there only once and thought it was too, too crowded... the monastery is fascinating, and the whole set up, but how was it crowd wise, where did you stay, ....where did you eat, good not terribly touristic...Thanks, I would like to come back but the idea of so many tourists makes me a little ...

I am hoping to visit the Mont St. Michel this July and plan on staying in a hostel in Pontorson and taking a bus to the Mont St. Michel. Does this sound like it will work? Which route did you take to get there, car/train..? <BR> <BR>Thanks
