Monoprix

Is there a Monoprix near the Eiffel Tower?

Derek Feb 24th, 2003 05:47 PM

Don't know. Do they have a website. There is a large supermarket in Passy which is about 2 stops away (maybe 3?)

No. As far as I know the nearest Monoprix is on the rue de Rivoli. There used to be one right next to the Galeries Lafayettes, but it closed down.

Derek--could you post the name or address of the supermarket in Passy, as I will be staying there in May, and will need to get a few supermarket items for the apartment we have rented. TIA, Barb

The closest to the Tour Eiffel that I know of is at the corner of Avenue de la Motte Picquett (Commerce - across the street from Mc Donald's) and Boulevard de Grenelle. It's about three blocks from the Champs-de-Mars and the Ecole Militaire. Within the past few months they have completely renovated the store.

They do have a web site but since they revised it, it isn't actually as useful for finding stores as before. You can just go to www.pagesjaunes.fr and type in Monoprix.

There is a large one on rue Linois (called Monoprix Beaugrenelle) which is only a couple blocks west of place Charles Michels. That isn't very far from the Eiffel Tower, either. There isn't one in the 7th at all.
