Molde or Alesund?
 

If you had to choose between these two Norwegian cities, which would you pick and why? Thanks!

How long for? When?

I would pick the larger city. Because of its Art Nouveau reconstruction, Alesund may also be more interesting in that regard.

We will be there for two days in early September.

Ålesund, not much in Molde -it's not on the usual tourist routes.
