Models of art deco Métro entrances

Kerouac, or anyone:

Are there any decent-quality scale models of the art deco Métro entrances available? We've checked 4 model railroading stores in Paris, and at all the proprietors have said they knew of no such items available -- which seems odd for such an iconic rail landmark.

We'd like to find something to use in a Christmas tableaux, but all we've seen so far is a pot-metal version in the giftshop at the Arc de Triomphe, that was overpriced (€48) and not very well made.

I will get shouted down for pedantry, no doubt

but, just to let you know.......

they're Art Nouveau, not Deco.

8-)

I'll repeat that, it drives me nuts when people call Art Nouveau Art Deco. The styles aren't remotely similar. Especially people who claim they are so interested in design. They sell models of those in all souvenir shops, pretty much.

The RATP boutique is on the RER level of the Châtelet-Les Halles station.

Well, excuse me for a moment of confusion. My education is in geology, not design. Unfortunately, the kiosk in the RER level of the station is supplied with pretty much the same touristy junk as every other stall, with the exception of some bus and metro car models. So I guess we'll have to try their mail-order.

Thanks for the tip, though.
