Mitterrand, the film
Has anyone seen "Le Promeneur du Champ-de-Mars"? A stunning performance by Michel Bouquet -- whatever one may think of the accuracy of the portrayal. I doubt now I'll ever quite be able to separate Bouquet's Mitterrand from my recollection of the late president.

Michel Bouquet is a favorie actor of mine. Did you see the original an unfaithful woman? In French, La femme infidale.

I'm totally ignorant of Michel Bouquet. But I'm not likely to miss another film he's in, and I'll go looking for the earlier ones. Thanks for the title.
