Mississippi Travellers Only.

Please, what is your favorite vacation destination ouside of the USA/

ira Nov 6th, 2004 05:54 AM

Jackson.

GSteed Nov 6th, 2004 09:41 AM

Please explain...Fodor site suggested that Mississippi was at the other end of the IQ scale from Connecticut. Wouldn't it be interesting to find out where their travellers go for a vacation?

Efoss3 Nov 6th, 2004 09:57 AM

Can I reply to this question? I live in Alabama;-)

ira Nov 6th, 2004 10:02 AM

Hi GS,

You didn't tell us that you were basing your questions on purported IQ levels.

crepes_a_go_go Nov 6th, 2004 11:16 AM

Why don't you find something constructive to do with your time? If Mississippians are the stupid hillbillies you want them to be, I doubt they have any reason to be posting on this board.

And I thought some of the recent "political" posts were bad.....

DixieChick Nov 6th, 2004 12:43 PM

I also live in Alabama so that makes me too sophisticated to answer this question, I suppose.

I think only a handful have ever left the USA. New Orleans is foreign enough for most of them. Not at all like us worldly folks in Georgia.

walkinaround Nov 6th, 2004 02:02 PM

what is this post trying to prove?

yawn... for this and the CT counterpart.

jmw44 Nov 7th, 2004 05:54 AM

ok, I'll bite: Please provide a link to the Fodor slam. I am really tired of snooty, bigoted folks promoting stereotypes.

Scarlett Nov 7th, 2004 06:00 AM

I demand equal billing!
You must include Florida and then the rest of the United States, individually , so we can all boast of our astronomically high IQ's !!

emtravel Nov 7th, 2004 06:19 AM

As I said in CT post, I suggest to expand your research by county, not by state :-)

walkinaround Nov 7th, 2004 06:49 AM

wealthier, better educated people tend to have the opportunity to travel more. i think this is very obvious to everyone and therefore, not a very interesting topic.

CT spends more on education per pupil than just about any other state; mississippi, the least. why don't we get off our pompous high horses and just be thankful that we can travel without having to put down those without the same opportunities.
