mis-posted message

Okay, a general question. I have mis-posted a message and would like to get it into the right topic area. Anyway to do that without completly re-posting?

Hi A,

You have to post again.

((I))

PS,

Click on your name and it will come up again.

Does it make any difference? If for example you mean you were asking about Rome and failed to click for Italy, it really doesn't make much difference as all topics come up in the general Europe listing. It only means if someone specifically clicks on for topics just on Italy, then they won't see your post -- but I personally don't think many people here do that.

I wouldn't repost it -- as Patrick said, the only difference is if something clicks on that particular country because they only want to read that subset of posts--then they won't see it. I think most people like to read all the posts and will see it and don't care what topic you filed it under. I don't read them all, but I scan down the entire list to see which ones I'm interested in, I think many do.

I find it more troublesome if someone posts the same post twice and then the answers get separated and split up. This is a developmental process, also, where subsequent posts may build on prior comments or information, so it's not as good to have two identical posts going (and kind of annoying, actually).
