Minimum age to rent a hotel or hostel room
I am 16 will be Czech Republic with a group ( all between 16 and 17)
And we're wondering if we would be able to rent rooms to stay. |
check with the hostels themselves - there is no universal rule I believe.

This will vary by hostel (more likely) and hotel (less likely to want a group of teens alone).
|
Depending on the time of year, I wonder if university accommodations, if any, might be more inclined to house your group.
|
It's not a big group there's only 4 of us and we will travel in the summer. We have made reservations ( we all have our own credit cards) but the age question does not come up when you reserve. I have emailed some places but no response yet.

I honestly don't think it'll be a problem. Be sure to bring copies of all emails sent, and answers if they respond. That has saved me more than once when there were other issues.

have a look at this link. I know the guy that runs this website and his info is very good, he has a son about your age as well. I don't think you will have problems getting hostel accommodation or even hotel rooms , the problem may come if you have to book it using a credit card. |
I actually thought you had to be 18 to get a credit card but obviously you have one so I think you should be ok.

Thank you very much every one for the information.
