Mini break advice

I am planning a 4 night European break in February (special birthday and Valentine's weekend combined). Stuck between Barcelona and Prague for our destination and would welcome some expert advice from those in the know!

Have you factored in the weather? I love Prague and would do it in a minute - but some people might be put off by the cold and snow. I'm not sure about the weather in Barcelona but I'm sure it will be warmer.

If you don't mind cold weather I think Prague will be a great place for your break.

We were in Prague last month for a special anniversary, and the weather wouldn't put me off. I think you will find it very romantic!

We booked through travelcook.com and they have a good choice of discounted hotels.
We stayed at hotel Metamorphis in room 21 (a large apartment) with great views of the Tyn church.
www.metamorphis.cz (usually cheaper through travelcook.com).
The hotel U Prince looks great too.

If you do a search on here for 'romantic restaurants in Prague' you will find a great list of restaurant suggestions for a special meal.
Have a great time wherever you go!

Thanks for the tips. Looks like I will be investing in some woollies!
