Milos- accommodation suggestions

Hi, I am planning a trip to Milos for May 2023. I’ve looked at both Adamas and Pollenia. We would like to stay where we can walk to dinner. Is Pollenia big enough. Looking for any recommendations. Thanks

I've visited MILOS twice in late may, stayed once in Pollonia. it was just opening up ... Pollonia had about 3 tavernas going, including one noted for seafood... no nightlife to speak of. Its beach is "fair". These days, since I read that Greece is experiencing its biggest tourism year ever, perhaps things will be livelier earlier - but I don't think the number of tavernas will increase. In Milos, you face a dilemma -- Adamas has by far the most choice, but its beach is really N.G. If u r planning to rent a car or an ATV (brave person), u will have access to many many beaches. Then u also could stay in Pollonia & go to Adamas for dining & nightlife. The drawback - if you enjoy a glass o' wine or 3, not so much fun driving back on totally unlit roads. (Fortunately the driver in our party was an abstainer). So ... your choice.

Thanks so much for the information. It sounds like Adamas will be better for us. Do you have any suggestions for hotels. I think within walking distance to town would be fine. We are in our 60’s, so some place comfortable- don’t really want budget accommodations.
