millenium ex. apts. marriot budapest convenient?

narrowing down hotels. for two couples this seems like very, very nice option.price-wise and comfort.

i do not mind walking to bus stop to cross over to castle area..but underground is 500 m.

do the experts know how convenient or inconvenient the location of this hotel for four days is? any good restaurants that side?

does anyone have the transport website for budapest or is most of it walkable?

thanks a lot.

Hi ,
try this. The mentioned hotels are quite good locations and almast everyrthing is walkable from there, but we careful with the resataurants in the area as they can rip off tourists if not careful. Especially bars tend to overcharge.

But it is a good, safe location with amazing views...

thanks so much. it does seem there is plenty to keep us busy over that side, also.

this option pricewise is EXCELLENT! the apts. look fabulous.
2 bed, 2 bath, living, kitchen.. free breakfast, for less than 3/4 star hotels!

Hi lincasanova,
Just got back from Budapest where we stayed at the Millenium Court. It's a wonderful hotel - the rooms were large and very new and comfortable. They have various different configurations so you might want to check with them if you have a preference - e.g. some are just 'open' rooms with living room, dining, kitchen and bedroom all interconnected... others are more apartment-like with doors and hallways separating the different areas.

The hotel is very convenient to everything on the Pest side - 15/20 min walk to the Parliment, Basillica, Opera House, etc, 20/30 min walk to Heroes Square. Personally, I did find the Buda side of the city more quaint and interesting, and if my company hadn't been paying for me, I would've probably tried to find accommodations on that side of the Danube. I feel there's a little bit more to see there, and there were more shops and restaurants.

Everything is very close though and we walked everywhere and had a great time! Hope you do too!
