Military Tattoo-Edinburgh
 

Will be on Golden Princess July 11 British Isles sailing outof Southampton and was wondering if anyone knows if they offer, as an excursion, a visit to Military Tattoo in Edinburgh. Or do they not offer it or is it sold out and what would the price be if they do offer it? Any comments appreciated.

Unlikely - the Tattoo doesn't start until the 4th August

Oh - on your other post I didn't notice your date. I think that cruise is only 10 days long so alanRow is correct - the Tattoo won't have started. So you'll save what you'd have had to pay a scalper . . . .

You are so correct JanisJ. Do you have any idea what we would have had to pay for tickets-ballpark? Oh, by the way, what would your opinion be as to choosing between the BIGBUSCO or THE ORIGINALTOURCO in london? Both are, as you know, hop on-hop off bus lines. Same-same? Thanks

As for the Tattoo - I don't recommend using scalpers. But Tattoo tix are very sought after so probably whatever the traffic will bear.

Re the Original or Big Bus -- six of one half dozen of the other. Not really much difference. They take about the same routes and offer similar features at the same prices.
