Mileage Chart
Hello - I am new to this forum. I am beginning to plan a Europe trip. Does anyone have a good suggestion (website)for finding mileages between European cities?
|
Are these charts for walking or hang-gliding? It does make a difference, you know!
|
No chart... but the resources that you can help you are www.mappy.com and www.viamichelin.com just to name two of the best.
For driving, that is. Best wishes, Rex |
degas - yes , you are right. I will be driving. I am sure I need a seperate mileage chart for walking and driving. I imagine the distances are different. As far as hang gliding, I will not need those charts. Do you now if they have have bicycle charts. Would the distance be any different for biking and roller balading?
|
Thank you Rex - that is what I needed
|
Hi slow,
www.mappy.com will give you walking distances. Change "express" to "pedestrian". ((I)) |
Hi, guess you sense I was just having a bit of fun with you. That screen-name, which I love, was too hard to resist. Have a good trip.
|
mapquest.com will give you mileage and driving directions for many Europeon cities.

There's a site --
www.flyingfish.oscarfish.com that provides you a mileage calculator. This allows you to plug in airport codes and gives you exact mileage you're earning in seconds. Very useful when trying to rack up the FF awards. |
I couldn't get the link to work from fishee's post, but this one appears to be the same website he/she references.

thanks TA -- that's the one!
