MIldly amusing email received from spouse today
 

He flew to Moscow yesterday:-

"Hour late leaving Aberdeen, just made connection in Paris but bags didn't. No hand baggage + No baggage = new double negative which is definitely not a positive. If my PC, mobile or clothes turn up I may be in touch."

Hope he's in touch soon.

At least he hasn't lost his sense of humor, poor boy!

Well, at least not having a lapyop didn't stop him from sending out email.

He's in his company's office. The follow up was

"I'm still hoping it will turn up. Everyone esle's bags from Aberdeen failed to arrive. The Aeroflot number is spookily always engaged and the AF website shows no info. With only 7 flights a day from CDG to Moscow you'd have thought they'd have stumbled over it by now. Still if I go down the market I may be able to buy my PC, phone etc cheaply."

At least he retained his sense of humor!

Did the kilt make the previous trip in good shape?

I flew Aeroflot to Moscow waaaaay back in the 70's -- and I'm STILL waiting for my bag. :) since everyone's luggage went missing at least they're all in the same boat wearing the same thing every day.

Hope the luggage arrives soon . . .

Keeping his cool despite no baggage, no computer; I am impressed. After all the complaints about chap-stick...
