The numbers you need are as follows:-
Tel: + 39 02 63712016 or + 39 02 6704818
Fax: + 39 02 63712683
From 07.00 to 21.00
I have a Club Eurostar card which gives me a 20% discount on all tickets in Italy as well as entrance to the Club Eurostar section which you will find in every major station e.g. Rome, Milan, Florence ...
They are very helpful and less "stressed" than those on the main numbers and may be able to help you with your enquiry. Their numbers in Milan are:-
Tel: + 39 02 66981013
Fax: + 39 02 67077355

Since your trip is across Europe, have you tried to book through the Swiss site which is very clear and allows online booking - look at www.sbb.ch and head for the section in English.
