Has anyone stayed at Hotel Star (it's near La Scala etc, and the Cadorna train station)?
|
Cadorna Station is not nea La Scala. Take a Metro between them.
|
Well, I would consider the Hotel Star convenient to both Cadorna and La Scala. From the Hotel Star (according to Google), it's only a 12 minute walk to Cadorna, and only a 3 minute walk to La Scala
If you want to be near Cadorna because you want to take the airport train to Malpensa very early in the morning, and your are hauling luggage, you might end up wanting to take a taxi to Cadorna from the Hotel Star if it is raining or the sun isn't up yet. Just to keep that in mind. It is better to look at reviews of the Hotel Star on booking.com or TripAdvisor than to ask here, where you will only get a few responses, and if you are particular about your hotel room -- such as, you don't like cigarette smell or thin walls or slow wi-fi, you are morely likely to get a good sense of how Hotel Star measures up with respect to details if you real a lot of reviews. |
We've stayed at Hotel Star a couple of times but not in the last 5 years. We walked everywhere, including to Cadorna station, but not with luggage. The hotel is nothing fancy, but we found it more than adequate for short stays.

I have stayed there.
Very good location, good breakfast, courteous and helpful desk staff. Our room and bathroom were clean, modern, above-average size. Kind of odd jungle decor, but I was OK with it. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Note: Don't be put off by the entrance, which is in sort of a back alley. |
We always stay and can highly recommend the 4 star Hotel Berna on Via Napo Torriano. The property is handy to the Stazione Centrale, the staff is first rate, the property is extremely clean, and they serve the best breakfast in Milano.
Highest recommendations. Buon viaggio, |
