Milan hotel with Malpensa airport connection

Will be arriving in Milan by train from Genoa probably late afternoon and need to be at Malpensa airport @ 11:30 am next day.

I presume we will arrive at the Central Station in Milan.

Which hotel or location do you suggest that will be easily accessible on arrival ( ie walk) and offer convenient airport transportation for the next day?

Would like budget not to exceed 100 Euros.

Thanks

You have two choices. There are many hotels within walking distance around Centrale Station. Use Trip Advisor. Shuttle bus from Centrale will take about an hour or a little more at that time of day. The shuttle bus pickup is on the SE side of the station. We have done that a couple of times and it works well.

The other choice would be to stay around the Cordoba Station (that is not quite right - I have gone blank on the name) There is a 30 min rail service from that station and assume there would be acceptable hotels aruond that station.

It is Cadorna station, with easy rail service to Malpensa.
We stayed at Genius DownTown hotel, walking distance to Cadorna Station, to Duomo, to Scala..very central. I think that we paid an average of 100 Euro / night (they had different prices for each night).
Clean hotel, good breakfast.

valtor! I knew it was Cardorna! I said "Cadorna" aloud, but my fingers were too influenced by Cordoba. Bad start to the new year. . .

Antica Locanda Leonardo on Corso Magenta is within walking distance of Cadorna Station and the train to Malpensa. It is small, quiet, has a delicious breakfast and a great staff too.

Hi,

I suggest you Hotel Bernina http://www.hotelbernina.com/
It's right in front of the Central Train station where will arrive your train from Genoa and will leave the Malpensa Bus Express and Malpensa Shuttle Air Bus to Malpensa Airport.
Hotel Bernina is cheap, elegant and functional.
