Milan Hotel Recommendations?

Any reasonably-priced (approx. $100/double) recommendations for hotels in nice, safe area of Milan?

We stayed at the Hotel Lloyd, about a five minute walk from the Duomo. It was a nice, more business style hotel. Breakfast included. Rooms (including the bathroom, were fairly large. For about $100 double, but it was a special. Don't know how often they offer the special rates. You didn't say when you are going, and that has its effect on rates as well.

I will be going in the second half of May, so it is probably doubtful that I would receive a special rate ... but thanks for the Hotel Lloyd rec.

Hotels in Milan are comparatively expensive; $100 is on the very low end. I've stayed at the Hotel Speronari, which is within walking distance of the Duomo on a pedestrian street lined with food shops. It's a little spartan, but should fall within your price range.

If you've not already done so, you might try a text search here for "hotel and milan".

Try the Hotel Spadari-great hotel only 2mins walk from Duomo-but dont know if it is out of your price range.

We stayed at the Hotel London which is kind of business like. It was inexpensive but $100 is pushing it in Milan. It's about 3 blocks from the Duomo.
