Very sad! We were just there this month. This makes you feel vulnerable wherever you go now.
We hope all of the lovely people we met and the businesses we enjoyed are not affected. It is so devastating for so many.

any disaster stimulated by human generated Climate Change is a terrible thing and avoidable

Everything seems to work normally again, incl. Porta Garibaldi station.
The waters of the Seveso river aren't higher than usually any longer.
But there are some problems in the Bergamasque Alps and along Lake iseo.

My train Bologna-Turin yesterday (Oct 31st) was not able to stop at Milan Garibaldi and took a slow detour on an alternate routing through Milan, but nothing else on the route was affected.
