milan airport to train station

can anyone help with how best to get from the airport in Milan to the train station? How long should it take us to get there?

Travel time from Malpensa to main train station, Milano Centrale is about 50 minutes. Best, certainly the most cost effective transport is the shuttle bus. Leaves outside the airport terminal & drops you directly in front of train station. There also is the train option--BUT be aware that train from airport does NOT go to Milano Centrale; rather it comes into Cardono Nord station. If your plan is to continue on to another city within Italy, then using the Malpensa Express train will be inconvenient. Better to opt for bus.

Hi Bob! Be aware that if you re taking the shuttle bus during rush hours, or if there is some other road problem, it can take a lot longer. I know many people who got stuck in traffic & ended up taking 90 minutes to 1 1/2 hours getting to Milano Centrale.
