Michelin Store in Paris?
 

Years ago there was a Michelin store in the 7th arrondissement (I think) where one could pop in to buy maps, use the wc, and generally rest up.
It was listed in their Green Paris guide...they actually invited people to stop by and stock up on maps and things.

Been searching high-and-low over the 'net for it (or for a new location in case they moved) without success.

Anyone have any idea if Michelin still has something like that in Paris?

Need to buy the newest edition maps or the Atlas (at 1:200 scale) as well as Green Guides. Amazon and others don't seem list the newest editions and don't always have them in stock.

I don't know if the Michelin store is still there or not, but you can get the newest edition maps and the atlas and Green Guides at just about any bookstore in Paris.

The BHV department store on rue de Rivoli has a HUGE selection of maps and guides. They also have a cafe where you can rest up.

Some years ago I remember visiting the "Michelin Boutique" at 32 Avenue de L'Opers, Paris 75002, where they stocked all their maps guides etc. etc. but it is not there now and I cannot find any reference to it on their websites. Presumably they've retreated to selling online which is a shame as you cannot browse things before choosing.

I've now learned the Michelin Boutique in Paris, in Avenue de L'Opera, closed about 5 years ago.
