Hello,

I am thinking of hiring him for one day when in Paris thhe wed. after tuesdays arrival. What musuems are a must and do you think one day will be enough??? It will be my first time in Europe so hopefully he is helpful and will also show me how to use the metro. I appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

<Can you tell me about him???>

Yes, he doesn't answer his e-mail per other posters on this board.

I was one of those who was not successful in receiving timely responses from Michael Osman, and it was on more than one occasion, so not solely due to his computer crashing last year. However, to be fair, some people do seem to hear from his more reliably, I don't know if it's random luck or not.
But, his services and personality are always praised otherwise.

We haved toured with him two separate times; two days 2003, 1 day last summer. My brother in law toured with him last spring and my son and his wife went with him last October. I can recommend him without hesitation...he is knowledgeable, flexible, fun...it's like hanging out with a good friend in Paris who knows his way around. It saved us time and money in the long run. Be persistent in reaching him...he is busy, but this is his livelihood as well, so he wants the business.

He will make suggestions to you based on your interests and customize a tour that suits your needs. He took us all over walking, on the metro, and the buses.
