Metro/RER ticket booths at Gare du Nord??

Can anyone tell me if the Gare du Nord station has ticket booths with people stationed at them selling metro tickets and/or Paris Visite passes and where exactly in the station these staffed ticket counters are?

Thanks!!

You can also see the tickets booths in "reply #4" of my Gare du Nord guide: http://tinyurl.com/348fu7n

I would just add, you don't need to stop at the first metro ticket counter you come to on the underground level - as everybody else tends to do. There is another one further over by the entrance to lines 4/5. I'm not sure if this will also sell Paris Visite passes though, since I've never bought one.

Also - though this may seem obvious - ignore the various panhandlers trying to sell you individual metro tickets.

Yes, they are selling child fare tickets for the adult rate, which you would find out immediately if there were a ticket control.
