Message for NYCFoodSnob

Hi there - just intrigued by your login name. Are you a foodie? :-)

LeCanard Aug 12th, 2003 03:02 AM

Can't wait for NYCFoodSnob's answer. :D

NYCFoodSnob Aug 12th, 2003 04:55 AM

Am I that transparent?

Scarlett Aug 12th, 2003 05:01 AM

Amazing! Do you really live in NYC? :D

LstFltOut Aug 12th, 2003 05:15 AM

Transparent? NYC? Good Qs.

TuckH Aug 12th, 2003 05:21 AM

Like TheDuck, I can't wait for the answer to my question about the foie gras ("Dordogne in November" post).

AllyPally Aug 12th, 2003 05:46 AM

You are SO transparent..! But are you a self proclaimed foodie?

TuckH Aug 12th, 2003 03:31 PM

...topping...and waiting...

I'll chirp away with my buddy, the quacking duck waiting for your reponse.
Or are you out tasting the foie gras you dismissed on the Dordogne thread?

Please NYCFoodSnob, I have to know. Are you the same person my husband and I met while viewing Tiepolo's "The Meeting of Anthony and Cleopatra" at Palazzo Labia? You told us you were a food snob from NYC and we never forgot those words. Well, if I'm right, we never had the opportunity to thank you for both restaurant recommendations you gave us. Not only was the food the best we've had in Venice but both experiences were magically romantic for my husband and me. We toasted you at both dinners. Btw, I tried the sarde in soar and it did come de-boned and without the head as you said and I fell in love with this dish. I couldn't believe it. You're the best.

If I've made a mistake about your identity then I apologize for this reply.
