What is going on in Scandanavia? Is the the full moon or Mars being so close to earth?

Gee - And I thought it was only Americans that had no regard for traditions and history...I'm sure somehow this will be blamed on U.S. culture and influence.

Check out these poor Asian tourists who travelled 10,000 miles to have their picture taken with this:

How sad. And what a shame that these people who seem to have imaginations and time and energy, don't put it to use in a positive way.
How lame to go to so much trouble to be destructive.

That is sad. We saw her last year, and the children (and children at heart) just love her. Since the children go down to the water and get on the rocks to be close to the Little Mermaid, I can only fear what might have taken place had this occurred during the day.

Can somebody explain to me how could vandals get away with using explosives, deployed crane equipment, and performed quite an involved demolition-like operation on a beloved national monument? This monument has been subject of vandalism before...what does it take to up the security in Denmark? #o

Could be angry tourist who are annoyed by the fact that you walk for absolute MILES before you get to her and then, IMHO, she is a bit of a disappointment. They should train a webcam on her.
