I'm not acquainted with the Mercure Paris Hausmann St. Augustin, but having twice walked by the Bonaparte Hotel recently, I think it's in a wonderful location and I'm considering it as a potential place to stay when I return to Paris.

I would definitely choose the Bonaparte. It's in a fantastic area- lots of great shops and restaurants.

Hi H,

The Mercure is closer to the Arc, the Champs Elysee, the Parc Monceau and the Jacquemart-Andre' Museum, as well as the Gare St. Lazare.

Check the www.tripadvisor.com reviews.

You can look up the addresses and tour the neighborhoods at www.pagesjaunes.fr.

Overall, I would suggest the Bonaparte, but I always do.

I like better the location of the Mercure St. Augustin. It's upscale, quieter and less touristy.
