Mercure Opera Garnier in Paris

Does anyone have any info on the Mercure Opera Garnier in Paris? We are thinking about staying there for our upcoming trip to Paris. I am having a hard time finding any info on the hotel. Please Help!

I don't know this particular hotel, but I have stayed in several other hotels belonging to Mercury chain. They are great hotels. However, in Paris, my choicest hotel (comfort, price, quietiness, convenient location) is still the Amiral Duperré, 32 Rue Duperré, sitting on the district Montmartre, and belonging to the chain Libertel. It will possibly cost less than Mercury Opera Garnier.

The Mercure belongs to the Accor chain of hotels, website: www.accor.com. Stayed at Mercure and other Accor hotels and I've never had any trouble.

Stayed there in 1999 - tiny room but quite comfortable.
Breakfast was adequate and it was in a good location - close to Metro etc.
The only downside was a thief came into the breakfast room and when discovered rifling our luggage was caught and subdued by two members of our group - the hotel staff locked themselves in the office and refused to help or come out until the police arrived!

Hi,

If this is the hotel at 4 rue de l'Isly I stayed there in March of 2000. I liked this hotel. It was very nice. The bathroom in our room was more like what you would find in an American hotel and we had just come from London so that was great. The breakfast they serve every morning is wonderful.
