private driver in ireland from dublin

Looking for a private driver for day trips from Dublin. There are three of us and we would like to visit New Grange, Giants Causeway, and Cliffs of Mohr and possibly Ring of Kerry. Not all in one day. Please offer some suggestions.

Except for New Grange, the other places are too far to be good day trips from Dublin. You could rent a car and drive yourselves, staying overnight in different places. That is probably your best bet. Perhaps you could hire a driver for your whole trip. You could also take trains and buses, then local drivers or taxis to your destination.

There are tours to all sites from Dublin.. Mary Gibbons Tour of Newgrange & Hill of Tara is well respected http://newgrangetours.com/ the others are too far unless you enjoy sitting looking at nothing special through a window. Can be done but with the Ring of Kerry coming in at 16 hours on the road why would you?

Are you looking just for a driver - or do you want someone who is also a guide - a whole different thing.

And agree that most of those places are not sensible day trips from Dublin (one offf the few highways, road speeds in Ireland tend to be very low due to their nature (small country roads with narrow or no shoulders, some slow vehicles and a whole lot of sheep).

We are using Michael Fox at Boyne Valley tours for a day tour New Grange etc. , Irish midland tours for the stint between Dublin and Connemara and Kenmare coach and Cab for Kerry. Of course we are overnighting in areas other than Dublin. Althoughwe haven't used them yet, they have been very responsive and pleasant in our communications.
