Menu/Food guide in Spain

I once read something about a menu/food guide for Spanish menus and I can't find it! agh!

I believe the publisher is "Open Road" something.

Does anyone know what I am referring to??

Thanks!
Sheila

Hi Sheila,
Yes, it's "Eating and Drinking in Spain: Spanish Menu Reader and Restaurant Guide" by Herbach and Dillon, Open Road Publications, $9.95. I bought my copy at Borders. Available on Amazon.

Hi BeachGirl. I have to chuckle because, when I went to Spain a few years ago, I think we had a "menu minder" (or something like that) and I still had no idea what I was eating! Thanks for the smile today and have a great trip!

I found this really good dictionary of Spanish food on SoftGuide to Madrid site.
Here's the link - very useful and a great informative site

Ah, yes, Eating and Drinking in Spain. Thanks for the website - not familiar with that one.

I'm hoping to recognize a few things on the menu before we hit the tapas bars - asking for it in Spanish - well, I'm working on it!! Like you, Iregeo, I probably won't know what I'm eating, either - but that's part of the fun of traveling!

Thanks for the info everyone!!

Sheila
