Menton France and the Lemon Festival

Okay taking a big leap and hopefully crossing off a Bucket List item this Feb/March. We are going to Menton for one month and will be there for the last week of the Lemon Festival. What we need to know is if the tickets for parades, gardens ect need to be purchased in advance. We would hate to get there and find they are no longer available

Sorry I can't help with your question but I'd love to hear about the festival upon your return. I've always thought a lemon festival in the winter would be great.

While you are there, take a drive up to St Agnes, the highest coastal village in Europe.

From what I know, you don't have to book ahead to attend the exhibitions, but I think if you want to reserve a seat for the parade you do have to book ahead.

Perhaps a quick email to the Menton tourism office will allay any concerns.

Enjoy the Festival!

A belated thankyou for the responses. I think we'll just 'wing it' in regards to buying tickets early for the Festival.
We do plan on taking the bus to St. Agnes, RonZ and wonder if the bus will also work for Gorbio and IF in fact you know that village? Would you recommend a side trip there?
