We had a great time at the banquet at Hatfield House, which is held in the very hall where Queen Elizabeth I held her first council meeting. The entertainment incorporates the actual history of the palace, as well as a very talented juggler (with fire!) and was well worth the trip.

Hatfield House is 30 minutes north of London, easily accessible by car or train, or by taking one of the many tours that are offered by the bus-tour companies that go among the hotels.

http://www.zf89.dial.pipex.com/

You can purchase your tube pass at Heathrow if you're taking the train into London -- or at any other tube station, just buy it the first time you lan to use it.
Did you walk into the Feast with reservations????
Do you remeber the time it began???

We went in August, so of course we made reservations far in advance. The event was definitely sold out.

I don't recall the starting time, but it's all on the website I posted.
