May trip
We are going to Paris May 6-16th.
Could anyone comment on events during these dates? (Any pending strikes-heaven forbid?) Are the flowers out yet? We have been to Paris before and look forward to walking miles and miles, taking pictures and eating. Muskoka Dave |
The 8th and 15th are both holidays, so those weekends will probably be pretty busy in Paris.
Have a wonderful trip! |
There may be strikes of public-sector workers on May 16 to protest the suppression of the Pentecost holiday. There is talk of it, but so far no official "advance notice" by labor unions.

Hi M,
>Are the flowers out yet?< They will be when you get there. You might want to visit the Parc Monceau. ((I)) |
Thank you grand-mere, Dave and Ira.
We are leaving to-night. Will check out Monceaux park for sure. Dave |
Trying only to be helpful (to everyone) and kind at the same time with this...
... and so, I'd rather offer you help with your <i><b>next</b></i> post. This is not my "rule" nor finger-wagging - - it's what Fodors itself asks you to do - - quoting from item 6 on their "HELP" webpage... http://www.fodors.com/forums/faqs.cfm#Q6 ========== "Finally, create a title - make sure it is concise and clearly describes your message (<i><b>and destination, if applicable</b></i>)..." ========== (my own added emphasis) So, if and when you re-post this question, mention <b>Paris</b>... please? for the benefit of all on this board... Best wishes, Rex |
