Maxjet & where to from London?

My husband and I have an opportunity to fly Maxjet to London this fall. We've been to London 2 times already, so where can we fly thats convenient &(close) and we won't have problems finding a flight, or I guess we could do Eurostar. We know we can get to Paris. Anywhere else? Does anyone know about Maxjet? It just seems too good to be true. $699.00 for 1st class? Wow!

Stansted is the main airport of Ryanair, the largest budget airline of Europe. You can non-stop to virtually anywhere in Europe from there, from Lithuania to Portugal.

It's the main airport of Ryanair..but it has also a wealth of other budget airlines like easy jet and not so budget like airberlin. You won't have any problem finding a flight that suits you :)

Thank you so much! I have heard some of the budget airlines schedule their flights every other day or twice a week. I tried last year to find a flight to Ljubljiana and I couldn't find one leaving on Monday. I don't know if I was looking too early or if it's just hard.

Just go to the Stansted website. Like practically all European airports, it provides a full timetable of flights to and from the airport.

Do remember that most low-cost aiirlines require you to have checked in for the flight (not just be in the queue) some time before, and allow plenty of time for that.

Or try www.whichbudget.com www.skyscanner.net

Just remember it's up to YOU to get checked in in time - if you don't you don't fly. I'd be tempted to spend a night in Cambridge both going & returning to alow for "problems".

Also note that Stansted's one bag limit is much lower than at any other UK airport so what is legal hand luggage from Heathrow or Luton could have to be checked at Stansted.

My wife and I flew MaxJet JFK-Stansted a few monthe ago. IMO, its as good as Delta Biz. The only problem(?) with your (and our) arrangement is that YOU are responsible for allowing adequate time for connections. If a flight is late and you don't connect its your problem. We allowed a lot of time for connections and it worked out, but I might not do it again. MaxJet is fine, however.
