Massages in Paris

Has anyone stayed in a hotel or gone to some kind of spa for massage treatments while in Paris? We always get massages if possible on a trip as a special bonus to ourselves but we have never tried it in Europe. We are going to Paris in April.

Le Relais Christine has opened their spa and it is quite wonderful. You can use their sauna and whirlpool beforehand in the same area.

Thank you. Sounds like what we are used to. Where is the spa located?

Boy, I can't find the hotel's website! I am using google as a search engine and all I get are the hotel finders and can't get the website itself to look up the spa.

The Lancome Spa is fabulous - I had a facial and massage and felt like a million dollars when I left - I travel to Paris several times a year and try to always return here.

mitchdsj, I can't thank you enough for the website! Has anyone stayed there? It looks fabulous! We were also thinking of the Jolly Lotti Hotel.

trav, we stayed there recently and loved it,
we'll return there for sure.  It's very centrally located and not a sound to be heard during the night or ever, the hotel is on a small side street and has a large courtyard entrance plus the back of the hotel has a small garden backing onto residential buildings.

They go out of their way to be helpful, we could not have been more pleased with this hotel which I found out about on this website. There are 3 excellent restaurants steps away from the hotel.

Mitch, you are the best! We have been trying to decide where to stay for 4 nights after we finish a trafalgar tour. We saw in a Rick Steve's book about a place on the Ile. St. Louis and other friends told us about the Jolly Lotti. This place looks great. Thank you! It's nice to have your recommendation.

Actually there are 5 excellent restaurants just steps away from the Relais Christine!
Jacque Cagna"s..if you want a REAL splurge..,Rotisserie d'en face and L'Espadon Bleu..Jacques Cagna's bistro's.., Christine, and a new find for us this trip, Chez Fernand. We went twice on our last trip and enjoyed it both times and very reasonable for what you get. I had cochon du lait ( roast suckling pig) that was delicious and DH had a wonderful rare kidney, if you like things like that. We also had their rack of lamb one night and it too was wonderful. The clos Luberon we had both nights was very good.

If L'espadon bleu has their gazepacho with mussels and shrimp as an entree , try it. Best soup we had this trip! And the vacherin at Rotisserie is a must every trip.
