Marseille to Barcelona
 

Hi!

Can anyone tell me please the best way to get to Barcelona from Marseille? I've been searching online, tried scnf but I couldn't come up with anything.

More than anything I know I can train from Marseille to Montpellier then onwards to Barcelona but not sure how much it will cost me, and if there is a better way of doing it?

First, go to www.bahn.de, the German national rail site that has timetables for most of western Europe. Do a "standard search" and a "without ICE" search to get all your options.

You'll see that there are several routes, including night trains for part of the journey. However, not all trains run every day.

Oops! I forgot to comment on finding fares. Go the the SNCF site and enter each leg separately for the route(s) you are considering taking. Get a fare for each leg and then add them up.

Don't know if this would interest you, but kayak.com shows a British Air flight from MRS to BCN for $108 (thru London), lve 6:50am arrive 12:20pm. I chose March 6th as a random date.

Oops. I see you're going the other way.

On the same date: Lve BCN 1pm, arrive MRS 6:50pm (thru London), $110.
