Marseille Airport Transportation

I will be flying into the Marseille airport and staying in Aix-en-Provence. I have heard there is a shuttle bus available. Anyone have any details? I will be returning by train to Marseille at the end of my trip. Anyone know how to get from the train station to the airport and how long it should take?

It is 28 kms.from the airport to downtown Marseille. There is a shuttle bus every 20 minutes to and from the Gare.St.Charles, which is the main railway station in Marseille. Don't know about busses to Aix-en-Provence, sorry.

There is very easy train acces to Aix-en-Provence from Marseille, about a 45 minute ride. Enjoy, both Marseille and Aix are great.

Look at the 'Travel Tips' Forum....I posted a website there a few days ago that gives some fairly detailed info about airports throughout the world and the facilities available.
Good luck and have a wonderful trip.

Thanks BJ. Unfortunatley, that site does not include this airport. Anyone else know anything about going directly to Aix from the airport?

There is a shuttle bus, running at least once per hour, from the Marseille airport to Aix. It costs something like $10, and the ride is about 25 minutes long.
