Marriott or Intercontinental in Budapest

Wife and I have narrowed it down to these two properties. Know both are on the river. Wondering about the room quality/size as there isn't much difference in the price. (we cannot get the room type guaranteed ased on the pricing/pkg)

Appreciate any input to help us with our decision between these two.

Both would be fine. The Intercontinental is a marginally more upscale proprty, but ALL rooms in the Marriott have a view of the Danube, which, for me, would be the deciding point.

There are 3 sizes of rooms at Intercontinental. The largest was slightly larger, cost $20 a night extra, but we felt it made a difference. View of Danube a must. If you are considering the Intercontinental for 4-5 nights, consider the Intercontinental Club(?), which costs $100. Includes upgrade. May be worth it.
