Markets in Montmartre
 

We will be staying in Montmartre and would like to know if there is a street market in the area to buy fresh fruit and vegetables. What days is it on?

As I recall, there is one on Rue des Abbesses (it is more of a market street with lots of specialty shops) open almost every day, and an outdoor market near the Anvers metro stop open on Friday afternoons.

What street will you be on? Many people who have been told that their place is in Montmartre discover that the description of the location was creative.

We will be staying in Place Charles Dullin.

You will be near both markets I mentioned above.

The gigantic Barbès market is on Wednesdays and Saturdays, under the elevated metro line.
