I will be leaving for Spain on 9/18/03. I need help on Madrid and Sevilla. I will be there for 8 days after coming back from a cruise sailing from Barcelona. I would like to see as much as possible. I being to Barcelona before but never to Madrid or Sevilla. Please send me your files on those 2 cities. I have no clue as to where to stay on go. I speak perfect spanish, so language is no problem. I would like to stay where is happening but not a place with shady characters. I will be traveling with my husband and we are in our late thirties. HELP ASAP. THANKS.

As promised, I forwarded Maribel's Madrid file to everyone who posted their e-mail after 9.7.03. There were a couple (I think) addresses I could not understand so did not try. The only ones returned were Maperez14@hotmail and Blums88. On scrolling back I will resend Blums because I typed it Blumz!! (Hard to get good help!!) The file is ABSOLUTELY MARVELLOUS!! Takes about 29 pages to run off and runs on WordPad. It is the most informative, unbiased and interesting travel report I have read!! MANY THANKS to Maribel for all her hard work! I will not be forwarding the file to more because --- tada -- we are going to Madrid!! So, if other kind people could take up after me, perhaps everyone will get a copy. The last one I sent to was [email protected]. Thank you to the people who took time to thank me!! My pleasure.

Not sure what format your file is saved in, but have you thought of saving it as a web page and posting it somewhere like geocities? It would probably save you a lot of work. It's very easy to do.

Hi Maribel, With 117 requests spanning over a year I hope you are still checking this thread often. We are going to Madrid in 1 month and want to spend time in Toledo, Segovia, Avila, and maybe Salamanca. I have Frommers and Rick Steve, but truthfully, from what I have read on this forum you are way better. Could I also have your file or just your advice on how to divide our time? We only have 1 week.
