I just discovered this board which seems populated by very generous posters. So much helpful advice.

Maribel's files on Barcelona and other parts of Spain seem really useful. Would someone please email them to me? I would really appreciate it.

We're going to stay 4 nights each in Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga (2-day conference), and Seville in mid-May. We hope to visit Granada and Cordoba too.
