Lkdrill,

How did you find out about the site?

Have you been able to download Madrid and Sevilla?

adrienne May 15th, 2004 03:55 AM

You can't download Madrid and Seville since there's no link to a file (no underscore in the name as there is for Barcelona and Basque).

I had a hard time downloading Barcelona and could only save it in My Documents rather in my Spain directory. You'd also need Acrobat Writer to copy parts of it into a trip file.

Thanks for posting! I now have all of her files and am hoping she puts one together for Extramadura. Her files and terrific tips enhanced our trip in so many ways. Thank you Maribel! And thank you lkdrill for posting the web info.

More of downloads are working today, and she has added some more links. If you read this, Maribel: A big thank you for your generous sharing.

Muchas gracias to Maribel and whoever helped her put this information on the web, it is so convenient. I guess I would point out that these are probably not the ultimate guide to all of Spain but are a great accompaniment to whatever guide book you may choose.

Just to top for all those who ask for Maribel's files.

I was able to open all of the files this morning.

Maribel - great job! Your guidance is invaluable and now available to everyone in a central place.

Maribel,

Are you back? Anybody knows when she's coming back?

adrienne May 17th, 2004 05:23 AM

If anyone could send me the Seville, Barcelona, and Madrid files I'd appreciate it. When I open the PDF files on the web site (except for Basque) my computer hangs up so I guess I can't download those 3.

Thanks.

Hi. Maribel's PDF files all seem to be there and working fine for us. If you prefer, it's easy to copy the files onto your computer (instead of viewing them in a browser over the internet). On a PC, right click on her "download the pdf file" links and pick SAVE TARGET AS. Then save it somewhere on your computer.

You can get that same menu on a Mac; I think you hold down the Command or Ctrl key while clicking on the link and the menu pops up. Hope that helps anyone who has having difficulty.

Mil gracias a Maribel!

Maribel's guides are now up on the Slowtrav site... Barcelona and Sevilla are up, Madrid and the Basque Country will be up soon:

http://www.slowtrav.com/maribel/

This will be good for those who have a hard time downloading the files.

I don't see the Andalucia file. Is it up on the site?
