I've got another two nights to spend, on your knowledge where can I spend this time? please note that my girlfriend would like to stay a little more at the sea; I was thinking of stay less in Alicante and a little more in Andalucia even reaching Costa de la Luz or stopping somwhere in Costa del sol during the "low road".
What do you think?
Thanks again

Maribel

Would welcome files you have on any or all of the following: Madrid, Cordoba, Sevilla and Granada. Planning a two week trip this fall.

Thanks in advance

hi bolzo,
First about Granada hotel:
I'd stay at the Alixares rather than downtown because it's just much easier to reach by car (I've posted on how to reach the Alhambra hill without going into the city).

I know Mota del Cuervo since I have land and family lives just 10 km. east. An alternative to the Mesón de Don Quijote there, would be the Palacio Buenavista Hospedería next to the castle in Belmonte. It gets a very good review on Top Rural.

Read about it here:

Your next day is a looong one, and since you only have 1 full day to see Sevilla, I'd definitely add on another night. I always enjoy 3 nights in this beautiful city, especially if booked at the Casas de la Judería in the romantic Barrio Santa Cruz. So I'd take away 1 night from Alicante beach & sun and add it to Sevilla so you can rest and see more of the city.

For the extra 2 nights, I'd stay somewhere on the "low road" route from Ronda to Granada.
(wouldn't go west to Costa de la Luz-you want to keep east, staying in the Málaga province on way back to Valencia). If your girlfriend wants close to the sea, then you might consider the Albero Lodge in Estepona, the Beach House in Mijas Costa, the Posada Morisca or Cortijo Almazara in Frigiliana or the Parador or Paraíso del Mar in Nerja. All have pools. I've given you so many options because depending on your dates, some may have a 3 night minimum.

Good luck in your planning!
