Margo's Back!
 

Hey! Margo is at it again, but at the Frommer’s web site! She’s been posting her Paris hotel information. She doesn’t stop! I’ve now collected about 55 of her hotels. No need to buy her book!

Margo, we love you. Keep up the good work. Commercialism? Of the mildest and most helpful sort.

Don't these people (Margo, Chris, Michael - see "favorite trip") have any money to advertise legitimately? If they're on that tight a budget, I sure wouldn't trust either their information (how could they afford to visit all those hotels?) or their tours (run out of money halfway through the trip, leaving everyone stranded?) <BR> <BR>

Interesting that Margo keeps plugging away with her book. I wonder how many other web travel sites she has hit. I have not seen her book in the bookstores where I live. I have stayed in several of her recommended hotels, so maybe it’s a good book. However, I would never buy it based on the fact that she advertises this way. I prefer my Frommer’s and Fodor’s books and the recommendations by fellow fodorites!

She never left. She sure can't sell many copies what with posting free advice! Also, I doubt very much if her info is current and I also doubt if she has visited/stayed in each and every one of her recommendations.

I have never had any problem with Margo posting-- she's never solicited sales that I've been aware of, and she freely shares all the information that she's gathered. Considering that's how she's making a living, I'd say that it's a wonderful plus for those of us who can benefit from her information. I don't really understand why everyone has such a hard time with her posting this material-- isn't it GREAT that someone has done all that work and shares it with us??? <BR>I've been on another travel board, where everyone appreciated all the information she shared. <BR> <BR>Paule
