March Weather on Amalfi Coast and Tuscany
We will be in Sorrento from March 14 to March 22, and then in Montecatini from March 23 to March 29. Realistically, what kind of weather can we expect, and what kind of clothes should we pack? Thanks in advance.

Expect changeable spring weather like March in the NYC area and that portion of the eastern US coast. Average temps in Sorrento and Montecatini will be in the mid 50s F with a good chance of rain.
In either case, dress in layers in case you get the odd warm day or afternoon and bring an umbrella. |

Parts of Italy are experiencing a freakishly warm winter. Here on the mid-coast Adriatic we have already experienced several days at 16-18 degrees (or high sixties). For this reason, although the previous posters are not wrong for the dates on average, I would zero in on one of the many city-by-city weather webistes as you get closer to your departure.

From what I understand, March is a very variable month. I was in Sorrento March 19-23 last year and the weather was beautiful. Every day was sunny, no rain and in the mid 60's except one day which was in the 50's. I think it could easily be cool and rainy though so I would plan for warm and cool weather.
