March 24: Reopening of the El Greco Museum in Toledo
As for the reopening, the El Greco Museum building is completely renovated, including a historic complex of 'mudéjar' caves and Moorish garden. Adding new amenities, new rooms like the one dedicated to Luis Tristán the disciple of the painter and even a new name, El Greco Museum. The Minister of Culture will inaugurate the reopening.
The Foundation El Greco 2014 has been established to commemorate the 4th centenary of El Greco’s death. Its primary focus will be to make of Toledo the European cultural centre it was in El Greco’s time.

We are visiting Toledo on Saturday, May 14, and I'd like to know more about the El Greco Museum. Has anyone been since the reopening? How is the collection? How does it compare to other things that we might do on a day trip from Madrid?
