Marble Arch vs. Victoria Station

which would be a better area to stay in , marble arch or victoria station. family of four going to london in april.

Both are good/central, though Marble Arch is a little safer/more convenient re. sights to see, parks, shopping, theatres and public transport. Beware where you stay in Marble Arch: is it a hotel or an apartment? There are a lot of cheap/tacky hotels in Bayswater nearby, ghastly tourist traps I would not recommend.

the hotel is the Thistle Marble Arch. they gavea good rate for a quad room including breakfast for the adults and the kids would be 5# a day

Dana <BR>you will be OK with a Thistle hotel. Since you are in a decent hotel I would choose Marble Arch area just for its location close to Oxford street shops and proximity to Hyde Park, etc. You will have good access to rest of London via the tube. Have fun.

Recently stayed at the Thistle Marble Arch. Very nice. I would highly recommend it for tube access and shopping and nice rooms and nice service.
