Marbella / Granada / Jaen??

Can I go early in the morning from Marbella to Granada, see the Alhambra and then spend the night in Jaen????

I'm very interested this question too!

I'd like to go from Nerja to Granda, see the Alhambra, then spend the night in Jaen or Baeza. A very similar route to the one you want to take.

Have you checked out the MadridMan.com website? Great message boards with lots of good/informed advice.
Yes!!! I checked madridman.com, its very good.

Please let me know if you know something about this route. I already checked viamichelin and for me looks like its possible but I would love to have advice.

we kind of did your question in reverse. We actually stayed at the parador in Cazorla because Jaen (or maybe Ubeda) was full and then drove to Granada. We actually stayed the night there (which isn't really necessary) in the parador and then the next day drove to Nerja. It would be doable in a day - a long day.

Yes you can. But Jaen is a bust. Stay in Granada and skip Jaen.

We made our Andalucia itinerary around getting overnite stay at th Parador in Granada, immediately adjacent tothe Alhambra and gardens; it was a very special place. If you can get it, do it; it's worth it.

No problem provided that you book your Alhambra times in advance so that you do not have to waste time.
