Marais hotels all booked!
 

I'm headed to Paris next week, and the two hotels I know in the Marais are booked - the Petit Moulin and the Bourg Tibourg.

Based on this site, I also tried the Caron de Beaumarchais, The Hotel de la Bretonnerie - both booked. I even went as far as the isle de St Louis - but the Lutece and Deux Isles also booked.

I want to spend about 200 Euro a night. So far my only option is the Villa Malraux. Anyone have an opinion on this place?

Skip, try the Axial Beaubourg, it's nice, too.

not sure of current prices, have you checked Hotel Place des Vosges?
also, Hotel Lutece.

I really liked staying at Hotel de Lutece as it's nicely located and the room was very clean, simply furnished with antiques, and the staff is nice. Unfortunately the hotel is quite popular and is booked months in advance. But you never know if there could be a last minute cancellation.

,..the Hotel Rivoli in the 4th is available next week. I went to laterooms.com and found lots of hotels open. Close enough to the Marais is the 11th and 12th... Nice hotels out east too. I know that where I've stayed in the 11th, we were a hop-skip and jump (i.e., easily walked) from Place de Vosges.

Just came back from Paris. Stayed at the Hotel du Loiret in the Marais. Nice hotel and inexpensive considering the location. Don't know if they would have any openings, but their email is [email protected]
