Marais - cafes / parks/ markets / Bonne Nuit
We just booked 6 nights in the Marais (3eme) at Bonne Nuit Paris. (Anyone stayed there??) Very excited! Does anyone have any suggestions for local cafes, squares, shops in this area that should not be missed?
I have read about a nice open market on Sunday a.m. near Bastille, but as we'll be leaving Paris that day, are there any markets run on Saturdays? Thanks! |
All the markets are listed here:

too bad the Bastille market is a feast for the eyes. But best to visit in the morning so if you have time....
The Marais is filled with wonderful boutiques. Le Dome du Marais for great eating, but there are loads of cafe;s to sit and watch the passing parade and places with sing-a-long like Le fous en face. |
I've heard so much about the Bastille market on Sunday... is this the one (from Travelnut's link)?
Bastille Market- Boulevard Richard Lenoir between rue Amelot and rue Saint-Sabin. Thursday, 7 a.m. to 2.30 p.m., Sunday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Metro : Bastille It says it also opens on Thursday a.m..... is this the same one that people are raving about? on Thurs, too? |
